What's New

  • New "Starting Soon" filter on Discover — quickly find venues with deals starting in the next 30 minutes.
  • New "Start Time" sort option — order venues by their soonest upcoming deal today.
  • Pick which day to plan for: when you tap Plan Here on a venue, the Create Plan sheet now surfaces every happy hour day that venue runs — today, tomorrow, and the rest of the week — with the full day name and date. Pick a day and the time snaps to that deal's start.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a screen freeze on Android during onboarding when granting background location access — the app now opens the system Permissions screen directly and continues automatically when you return.
  • Fixed the Discover screen having content clipped on both sides on iPhone after the new filter chips were added.
  • Create Plan now opens full-screen on iPad so every field — including the Repeat toggle — is visible without scrolling guesswork.
  • Fixed the Create Plan calendar being cut off on iPad — the full month is now visible when picking a date or time.
  • Removed phantom duplicate "Tomorrow" deal cards that appeared on some venues — these were leftover records from an early import and have been cleaned up.
  • The venue detail deal list no longer includes deals with invalid weekday data.

Improvements

  • Filter chips on Discover (Active Now, Starting Soon, Favorites) are now centered for a cleaner, more balanced layout.
  • Onboarding and Quick Start tip cards are centered with a comfortable reading width — much better on iPad.
  • Create Plan reveals fields as you go — Meet At time and Repeat options now only appear once you've chosen a venue, so the form doesn't ask you to pick a time with no context.
  • The selected venue on Create Plan is now wrapped in a gold card that matches the Plan For card, so venue and day read as a paired confirmation of your plan's "where" and "when".
  • Dates on the Plan For card now read in long form ("Monday · April, 27th") while the expanded day picker stays compact ("Mon · 4/27") — the right level of detail in each spot.
  • Section headers on Create Plan renamed for clarity: "Date & Time" is now simply "Meet At" since the date comes from your deal-day pick.
  • Upcoming Happy Hour Deals on a venue page collapse into a single tap-to-expand section, saving scroll.
  • Suggest a missing venue right from the bottom of the Discover list (and from the empty-results screen) instead of hunting for a separate button.
  • Same-day deals are now grouped into one card: if a venue runs more than one deal on a given weekday (e.g. a drink special and a food special), you'll see them together in a single card instead of two duplicate rows.
  • Your Plans tab and home-screen app icon now show a badge with the count of your upcoming plans.
  • Tap a plan reminder notification to jump straight to that plan's details.
  • Plan Here is now a primary gold button on every venue page — easier to spot, easier to tap.
  • Simpler Select Venue list: picking a venue from the Plans tab now shows one clean list with name, category, address, and distance. A red heart marks venues you've already favorited so your go-to spots float.
